PELVIC FLOOR SPASM

 There are many possible factors which could initiate a vicious cycle of pelvic floor muscle spasm and pain. Dr David Wise contends that large numbers of patients develop CPPS as a result of chronically tensing their pelvic floor muscles in response to stress and anxiety:
